Due to intense labour and skill required hand-picked matcha is both rare and valuable. The richness and the exquisite layers of flavour is outstanding. We are Joshua Takashi and Marin, the creative minds behind this teahouse. Originally from Nagano and Osaka, Japan, we have been living in Europe for quite some time. During the pandemic, we found ourselves missing the taste of home—the comforting smell of hōjicha, the soothing taste of matcha, and the umamipacked sencha. Our longing for these delicious teas inspired us to embark on the journey of creating an authentic Japanese tea house like no other.
